- Assess your now. Looking at the big picture of your life, on a scale of 1 to 10, what parts of your life are you happiest with, most satisfied with? Where do you rank your career? Your family life? Your finances? Your health? Other areas might include your spirituality, your community involvement, your social life. When you rank these areas in your life, you can see where you want to grow, possibly make changes.
- Know your values. Without a doubt, you have values in place. Getting clear about what your values are can help you make faster and better decisions, decisions that align with your values. It can help you understand your emotions and why some decisions are difficult for you. It can help you explain your decisions and walk your talk.
- Learn your Highest Talents™. Knowing what you do best can help you prioritize your work, so that you can do more of what you love – and do best – and less of what you don’t. When you prioritize your talents, you will make greater contributions and achieve more success and satisfaction.
- Clarify your sweet spot. Where do your purpose, talents and contributions intersect? That’s where you want to be spending your time learning, growing, doing and celebrating.
These four foundational elements will prepare you to achieve more of the success you want, both professionally and personally.
